I hum in harmony to the grief behind my eyes

That clings to remainders of dead flowers

The world speaks in tongues too lost to understand

Having a habit of remembering until you forget

I sew myself up, watching the stiches unwind

An enternity passes and I’m left staring at my insides

Smiling at the sweet tuneless lullabies of the deep

It circles in silence, stirring up the moths that settle in our minds
