So, at first, it was great. It drew me in, it made me laugh, it made me feel important. Thanks a lot Diablo Cody. Thank you for your witty scripts and you fun-loving indie chick attitude. Thank you for ruining my fucking life. Because before the dorks were dorks and we were cool to those who understood dorks were cool people. Indie kids were indie kids and we were cool to those who understood indie kids. After Juno premiered the world got a glimpse of just how wonderful the indie kids truly are. Now, you think that this would make things better and that it would bring high school students together, but it didn’t. it exposed to indie kids to a new world of fame. Not in a sense that they got instantly famous, but in a sense that more people tried to be like us. The few, the elite, the indie kids, The great ones who lived in sacred silence for all those years. And now what? What is individuality anymore? I mean you don’t have to dress the part to be an indie kids or a dork until NOW. Before you just acted the act and listened to the music we liked because it was something of our own. Something we could use to get away from everyone else. Something that made us who we were. And now the mainstream has taken over. Thanks.
