i just lost someone who was my best friend. it was all my fault of course. but this about a new friend. she made me feel like i was actually worth something.

You’re my only true friend
You’ve been by me for so long
I felt nothing, no pain
No grief, no sadness
But,
 
As feeling returns,
To my poor travelers soul,
I can't help but wonder,
When my next unintentional victim,
Will arise to feel the pain and grief I cause.

this is really good! I like the words you choose.
Don't be so hard on yourself, you don't cause people grief... don't blame yourself all the time. You seem like a really nice person, and for you to be so down isn't good.
