The Maze Challenge

Chapter 1

Panic surged through me. I look around with terror, the floor was an uneven type of stone and the walls around me was cover with sickly colored vines. I took a few steps forward having nowhere to go but forward, the sword I had got just seconds ago gleam in my hand as it caught the light rays. Emerging out of the tunnel, a freakishly blue sky greeted me. There was nothing out of the ordinary… as far as I could tell. There was no crazed serial killers, optimistic flower meadows, or some dark depressing hole. In fact there wasn’t much of anything, I glance around more boldly. No one, I crept forward toward the turning point of the wall. Which led me to another turning point. The only difference was that I could go right or left. Well and that the right side was slightly bigger.

Looking down, I assessed myself. I wore a simple black t-shirt and light blue jeans with Nike sneakers, and a single amber ring. Oh my god, I thought looking around completely horrified. Hundreds of thoughts passing through my head, but only one stood out, where the hell am I? I looked around hoping for something. Not something really. More like a flashing neon sign saying something like Welcome, this place is not really as deserted and creepy as it seems! Maybe a smiley face below it too I thought using my special self denial humor.
