Bulled

In my community there are many things that trouble me but one thing has got me concerned and fearful to even live in such a place and that is, children being bullied because of their parents hatred for another tenant. I have seen kids bully for several reasons, like being older, gaining notoriety, and just mean. I have never seen a child be instructed to beat up another child because his parent hates another parent and gives them permission to do so.

I am concerned because the child that is being picked on is a 9 year old girl and the children involved are an 11 year old boy and his 9 year old sister. Their parents have told them to beat this little shy girl up because they hate her mother. This has been going on daily for over two weeks now. The police won't do anything to protect the child. They are not babysitters and do not have time to keep coming out on a complaint. This 11 year old boy attacks her after he gets off the bus while his sister threatens she is going to get the girl. What kind of life is this for a child? She is so frighten she doesn't want to go to school. She cries all the time and has been called so many names she has been through torment but no one wants to help. I thought I would call CPS but no response has been made. The cops won't help and the apartment complex manager is doing what she can to get the people out.

I was reading where Texas passed an Anti bulling law and no one seems to enforce it here. I was told by the police that it was aged determined. I explained to them that bulling can occur regardless of age. Its not a he said she said deal when one child has marks and the other one doesn't. I have tried my best to not to blow my stack or cause trouble but I am so concerned that I have tried every method and resources I have to help.

What will it take for the Police to do something? This child is so afraid she doesn't want to go to school nor do she even want to leave her house. I worry that one day she will be killed and the ambulance rolling through and it will have been too late. That is what I fear for her. I also worry that she might commit suicide because of the constant hitting and verbal abuse she is going through.

The 11 year old boy pulled a knife on his sister and I wonder what he could do to another child that isn't even related to him. I am crying out for this child and have not been heard. Her voice has been silenced by others that do not wish to hear. The tears and the pleas to make it stop are echoing through my mind as she just wants to be left alone.

I pray everyday that she will get home without another bad day. I am so full of sorrow right now that I can't think straight and wonder how much more can she take. A home is suppose to be safe but not in our community. People fear to come out and these people won't leave even though they are being evicted next week. I keep praying for a loophole and so far I haven't found one.

As I think of that little girl knocking on my door with tears streaming down her face crying in pain from being hit I wonder will that be the last thing I remember before she is killed? Sounds harsh but it is the reality here in the projects.

Please parents help stop bulling and don't let another child suffer the way this child is.
