Sometimes, it takes nothing short than a slap on the head to make someone see clearly what's been there all along.

I'm trying to hold on to these views you so elegantly paint
Your words draw me into a world I can't escape
And I'm slipping.

I want to hope, I want to be able to wait
But it's hard when my head is screaming
It's hard when I've been faking it all this time
Hiding what dreams and desires I so aspire to create
The extent of the feeling, the depth of the meanings
I pour on the page.

I'm tired of waiting, I'm tired of sipping on idle preoccupations
Don't care about the stigma, don't care about the ignorance of the majority
It's all about your feelings, not hers or any authority's
When will you begin to realize
I just want to be with you?
