Lonely Heart

Lonely heart bleed through my soul

Gush free out of all control

Clean away insanity of loss of love, of pain, of grief.

Soothe me with the thought that you

Can grieve and heal and live and bloom.

Nourish what is now a shell,

Make me whole and break this spell

Of moments of true clarity

Which vanish before they reveal

Some language spoken by the world

That once I knew as a little girl.

Teach me how to comprehend

the words and signs the world has sent.
