Character study

My son has that Holden Caufield like character with a sense of sarcasm and youthful arrogance. He has an illumination and poise that is rarely seen in young men of his age. He has that steadfast manner that holds your hand when you are ill or uncertain. He has the intensity of Jack Kerouac and that constant need to question like Aristotle. He resembles a young Redford and has the gait of young buck in a pasture of green. He is youthful -yet often seems like the old man in the sea -that Hemingway writes of. He is rebellious like a young James Dean – without a cause. Like Sagan-he is a dreamer with his head in the clouds who wishes upon a falling star. He is eloquent as he defends the common man like Dr. King and John Kennedy. He is a character unto himself and like Frost still works on finding his road in life. He has a love of reading and writes like Vonnegut - in a cynical first person verse. He adores his girl like Romeo and will sacrifice himself for his love.
