Hope rescued faith. Wit kicked humor’s ass. And liquid courage made health sick as a dog. Truth flew north to the pure driven snow as far away from hate as she could go. Vanity flew south to tan a bit and linger with the mean and obscene crowd. Beauty remained in the east with peace and calm and had some tea. Rage and anger rode on the sails of the stormy seas. Passion sparked like fireworks in the July sunset. It peeked through to see where romance had fallen. Jealousy raised its ugly head instead. Love became lost in the confusion and distortion of the heat. Faith pushed hope to get out of her bed and rescued her from the dark clouds overhead. Hope returned and gently stepped out again to see where faith may have gone. Faith decided to join her once again and they walked side by side into the morn of the new year.
