Play on words

It is raining cats and dogs. My nerves are shot and my ears are ringing. My brain feels like a fog and a new storm is on the horizon. I have flown the coop and now I sing like a bird. Most days I feel like a horse of a different color and a horse’s ass. I will not point fingers but remain on point. I often feel like a cat on a hot tin roof and anxious like the tiger pacing in his cage. My moods are changing like a raging bull and I am often climbing the walls. I want to take the leap- but I must watch the tide as it rolls in. As to not go too far into the deep end of the ocean and become lost in this sea of emotions. No need to remain in this web of lies that have clouded my vision and altered my state of mind. I want to be found not lost - tried and true. My words are my vow and I play with them now.
