Winter lips taste of silence,
The king of brokenness,
I need something better,
He finds me as nothing,
As I crept out of his arms,
Into someone else’s,
In cold felt a nagging sense,
This was not destined.

Summer Knight comes again,
Flirts at me with a wink,
This man takes my hand,
Without a second glace back,
Ride away on his fiery stallion.

The king of absolute ice,
Came into his chamber,
To find his consort taken,
Stormed into the armory,
Told them “Find her, find her!”,
They all knew they’d be paid,
So they set afoot for his lady.

Summer love comes in an instant,
It was completely meant to be,
I have never felt so enlightened,
This cannot be untied, undone,
Seeing as I have won.

Winter lips taste of silence,
The king of brokenness,
I need something better,
He finds me as nothing,
As I crept out of his arms,
Into someone else’s,
In cold felt a nagging sense,
This was not destined.
