Aloha, Brother.

Warm beach tides captured my heart.

How I miss the sun.

Hang loose by turtles,

Flow with waves back to the shore.

I laugh with the waves.

At night, search for shells.

I watch the beach crabs racing.

The water's still warm.

Bright flowers, bright people.

They make me feel at home here.

Alright to be me.

Maui was a god.

His beauty still holds my heart.

Mahalo, for peace.

The whales sing and splash.

I wish I could join them here.

I wish I could stay.

The people here are

Warm, like the sun that always

Shines on their beaches.

Yet it is cool here.

The breezes ease my soul in

To slumber at night.

Geckos dance on the

Lanai. I see the ocean.

How I will miss this.

The people know I

Am sad. "Wahine, what is

Wrong?" I will miss you.
