Heavy in the air,
I can feel her
her presence
weighing down on me
claiming me,
as I hold my breath.

I can feel
the suppressed fear
trickling down my spine
as my sixteen year old body
shudders and morphs
into little eight year old me
with tears falling
gasping for Mommy.

But shh my dear
her sickly sweet voice
as I see her
still her older self
holding me down.

You'll be okay
you'll like it soon.

Her hands
travel my small body
caressing things
never meant to be seen
by any other.

Oh please, oh please
leave me alone
and let me go
don't touch me
leave me alone
and let me go.

And then she's gone
leaving me here
alone
curled into a ball
violated
soiled
tainted
unpure...

Terrified eyes open
cold sweat
clinging to my shaking body
my heart slamming
into my chest in a frenzy.

I cry and I scream
"She was there,
I could feel her!
Please
just make her go away!"

Just make her go away...
