Summary

I wrote this poem because of the impact my class made on my life. They truly are a blessing from God, and I thank God every day for allowing me to have made the friends that I did and being able to express myself poetically.
"As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you" 1 Samuel 12:23.

THE CLASS OF 2004

When I think about the Class of 2004
My heart rejoices ever more!
As I look back at the years pass by
I take a deep breath, and then I sigh

I came into this class my junior year
Didn't know what to expect; I had some fear
You took me in as I was one of your own
You've poured into my life; you reap what is sown

Chapel, Classes and SPICE
Six hours a week; we learned to suffice
Stayed up late and studied for tests
We have given our all and given our best

Class parties and trips was so much fun
Let the celebrations continue; academics are done!
It seems the years we've spent together had just begun
But now we are seniors soon to be done!

My three advisors, what shall I say?
You've seen us laugh, cry and play
Through hardships and trials ~ need I say more?
We love you... The Class of 2004
