What you did just wasn't fair.

Am I the only one to care?

Hope this is not just wishful thinking

Thought you'd be the last to get my heart sinking...

Should I really listen to my heart instead?

Since I always overthink things in my head...

But both have been badly mislead.

You said: "I'll love you always,"

But you broke your promise in all ways

The second we both went our ways.

We were never gunna say good-bye

No matter how far my plane would fly.

But even after your painful confession,

I still wait impatiently for your reply.

I'm looking at you now, but your looking through me,

Looking right passed what we used to be.

I recall the love in your eyes.

I see the truth beneath your lies.

For our friendship, I'm willing to compromise.

Swallow my pride,

A decision most people would despise.

And now, to my surprise,

I find your actions decriminalized.
