I love you so much, why can’t you see?
All I ask is, do you love me?
You act as though you do,
But you never say ‘I love you.’

I cry all the time, trying to be perfect,
But you seem to think that I’m not really worth it.
You’re my star, you shine so bright,
But I’m your dark while she’s your light.

None of my efforts do a thing,
To get you to notice me.
Do you know that I’m alive?
Don’t you see, I’m turning to the night?

Because of you, my heart’s in pain,
I feel like I’ve been chained.
My hands have been covered in crimson liquid,
This pain you cause...I’m sick of it!

And yet I can’t break from it,
I guess I’ll have to deal with this.
Will this pain ever fade?
