My heart breaks like glass
shattering against the cold tile
my eyes close like windows
darkening the reality that once kept me warm
my hands grow cold and clasp at nothing
wishing you were back in them
my smile fades with time
you took the smile from me
my love was used, abused, and thrown away
like times before
and as I sit in my dark reality, these cold hands laying boneless on the tile
and my frown starts to drip with tears,
remember:
I loved you, and now my heart's been shattered
all across this cold floor, where you left me.
