Poem by: LoisJimmy

Summary

Leon Marc is written about a personal passing in my family, it reflects on the subtle awareness given to still born babies seen by society but also the heart-ache felt by those involved.

A petal withered away, But in my heart it did stay, For the brief moments it had colour, Were happier than any other, It latched to my aching heart, Clinging to the life it could not start, I turned my head to set him free, Part of me my petal will always be.
