You ask a kid, anyone“What do you want?”
And they will answer, simply“Everything.”

Nothing Ever More
I want to live in Africa
Be a dweller of the poor
Living a life of simplicity
Nothing ever more.

And when I bid hunger
I will even eat a fly
No matter who’s around me
For I wouldn’t care.

I want to live in Africa
To escape the world I own
Of so much pain and hardship
That kills me to the bone.

Life so never simple
Always wanting more
Until I truly hate myself
For having what I have

You ask a kid, anyone
“What do you want?”
And they will answer, simply
“Everything.”

I want to live in Africa
Be naked on the land
Nothing to my matter,
Embarrassment never in hand.

And when life is over
With a sigh and nod
I will happily cross over
Nothing to care

Yes, life is tough, yes life is rough
In the plains of sun-burnt Africa.
But here is even tougher
A world of ‘I want more’
