I tried organizing every last grain of sand on the beach once, but it ended with a heavy heart and countless holes on the shoreline. Breaking away from my project was perhaps the hardest thing I ever did and ever will do.The piles of dust-like failures were carried by the wind to another place, another time, another youth willing to sacrifice his all for nothing. Watching that happen broke me, crushed me under the weight of another lost chance to make something of myself.
