I need you now!
I scream but no one hears me,
I cry but no one listens.
I am but a weary soul,
a vessel not yet christened.

You can't going dying on me now,
Your voice steady, heart weak.
I love you more than I am,
If you leave my heart will leak.

You gave me comfort, you gave me strength
And yet I turned it all away
For false promises and flowers wilted,
I should have kept the olden days.

And then I fell upon the floor,
My eyes all red, wet and still,
They offered me a better life,
But no promise they could fulfill.

I'm back again upon the floor,
But who to come but self belief.
She taunted me with beauty and riches,
A mirror, filled me with all my grief.

You've come back though I've rejected;
You've loved me though I have not loved you.
You've gave me a promise I know you will keep,
I need you now, I really do.
