Five hundred pass bys in your previous life,

For one exchange of glance in this life.

Nothing is a coincidence, but destiny.

Destiny is like an illegal drug,

For some unavoidable, for some impossible to seek out.

Mysterious yet lethal.

-

A certain day, at a certain time, with a certain person, in a certain place, for a certain reason,

one would finally be aware,

in agony or laughter,

of being tricked by destiny.

-

“Oh, sorry.”

One might say on the tube one day,

Only to lift ones head and become face to face with one’s Yr 3 teacher.

-

Destiny is like a swimming costume,

Important, but often forgotten,

Until it becomes too late, and one is forced to say, “Oh damn! I can’t go swimming anymore!”

-

“Look at her!”

One might be busily bullying someone at school some day,

Only to find in a length of time later, the same happening to oneselves.

-

Destiny is like a stalker,

Knowing anything, anyone might be doing,

Like there are flowers blossoming some where on this Earth at this second.

-

Destiny is like a meddling child,

playing with its toy like a ruthless ruler,

Unforgivable, yet always forgiven.
