Momma,

Believe me.

My cheek is still red

Daddy hits me.

Don’t be with him

You know it hurts

He used to spin me around

And tickle till I pissed in my pants

But now all he does

Is make me so scared

I piss in my pants

Momma

Believe me

He don’t love him

He doesn’t love me

All he does is curse

Say everything is my fault

And have you seen what he’s been doing lately

Chain smoking

Drugs

Alcohol

Everything

That you and him taught me to say no to.

But I wanna say no to him

Say ‘No don’t hit me.’

But he’ll just keep on hitting

Until I die

Momma

I love you

With all my heart

With all my being

But

He’s coming around the hall

I think he’s super mad

He’s slamming doors

Smashing glass bottles

Stomping his feet all around

But Momma!

If I die today

I’m sorry

I tried to live

I tried to the best

I tried to help

But if I tday

I can’t try

Anymore

But

If I don’t

Help me

Help me like you did

When I got that cut

From riding bike

Or when Frankie called me stupid

He’s calling my name

I can here him saying

“Georgia! Georgia! Georgia!”

I hope I don’t die

Mommy I love you

I wish Daddy would love me

But I have to go

To get my nightly beating

Get cursed at

Blamed

And have sharp objects thrown at me

Please

Help me

If I survive make Daddy nice again

Make him

A Daddy again

Make him

Him again

Just help

I love you

But now he is yelling his butt off for me to come

I’ll see you in the morning

Hopefully

Love,

Georgia
