What did you do today?

Metal money, paper money,
Sparrows and a dove,
See all the angels,
Weeping above.
There is no beauty,
We can save,
For today 21,000 children,
Went into their grave.

oh! the pain coming from this, it is to much, it is hard to imagine that this is happening under our very noses, good piece of work.

I agree great work, it was really emotional in just those few words- you did a great job. It was nice to read a poem of yours

Jeff Bezaire

A sadly truthful poem. It sums up the third-world and the first-world's effect on it completely.
