She struts around with beauty

In darkness and in light

Alert at any disturbance

This maincoon has no fight.

A subtle rustle of a plastic bag

Causes her eyes to meet their fear

Scampering into the distance

On her body, sticks up every hair.

We try to reassure, and without success

Whatever will we do?

Our adored Matilda for you
