Compare your black heart to my bleeding one.
You're trailing blood from your freshly polished silver scalpel.
It's almost like you meant to do this.
Is that why you won't stitch me back up?
The red is tripping all over that speckled, white-waxed tile.

Compare your narrow mind to my broad one.
Open your ears! These brick walls won't talk to me anymore.
It's as if you're ignoring me on purpose.
Why won't you try to help me?
You laugh so loudly when the jesters come.

Compare your contemptible ego with my timid one.
You have nothing to absolve me of.
I, on the other hand, could write a book of your transgressions.
Why won't you see reason?
You still refuse to acknowledge what's beneath your own nose.
