Goodbye to the memories; nightmares,
she's forever letting them go, you see.
One less thing to hurt for, to bleed for,
as the scars make their presence known again.
Purple and smooth, sealed with a tear
especially in the sun, only happy for some.
Master Puppeteer,
how you used to hold her so dear,
so dear...
Au Revoir to the mental movies,
those happy and sad, good and bad.
Hide them under locks and chains
in a black box buried deep
in the earth while the rain
beats an imprint on her heart again.
Master Puppeteer,
how you used to hold her so near,
so near...
She looks but doesn't see anything
like how you heard but never listened.
"Beauty's in the eye of the beholder,"
but she's not for you to look at anymore.
Curse you, narcissistic manipulator,
the one person that loved you unconditionally was her.
Master Puppeteer,
now you hold her with fear,
so much fear...
Farewell to the memories; nightmares,
she's forever letting them go, believe.
One less thing to cry for, to burn for,
as her scars say hello again.
Misery's disdain and isolation's pain
You've killed her soul; six feet below it lain.
