Take a Hold

Take a hold of what I offer.

Take a hold of the only peace

that you have ever known.

Let me take your hand,

guide you through

life and its sorrow.

Let me take a hold of you.

Days become endless.

Taking a hold of what was once so perfect.

Where did we go wrong?

I take a hold of this picture.

Picture of ourselves

taking hold of each other.

Tell Me,

when did you decide

to not take a hold of my love?

Funny how love turned into pain.

A rollercoaster ride of gripping twists.

Don’t let go-

Take a hold.

Grasp onto anything.

The rail--- to me!

Please for us don’t let go.

It’s always been you…

The only real thing I know.
