IVE ALWAYS BEEN CRAZY
The body still laid at her feet. The blood still dripping from the knife in her hand. She ignores the pain from the fight. All she thinks os that she finally did it. Got to the man who broke her heart. The woman he was seeing put a fight as well but 6 stab wounds and she fell silent on the bed. "If only you stayed and loved me" she says running a bloody hand threw his hair. "Let me make some tea for us" she goes to the kitchen while the sirens grow louder. "Looks like we have guests" she grabs the knifes near her as police swarm in threw the door. "Freeze" they yell holding their weapons looking at the body and the blood. "Would you like some tea? Or do we have to argue about this?" She looks to the body. The sky turns grey as storm clouds move over head and the sound of gunshots on the wind?

The Real Reason

"I don't understand." She said, staring at her mother's dead body. "I loved her, why can’t I cry for her?" She looked at her father who's head was in a handkerchief. He hadn't heard her, like always. She puts her hand on the coffin and tries to cry, she thinks of every sad thing in the world. Famine, death, injustice, everything, she can't even pretend to cry for her mother's death. "What's wrong with you?" Her father asked, loud enough for the entire congregation to hear. She looked at him, her face blank, "I don't know dad." He looked at her with evil in his eyes, "Didn't you love your mother?" "I did!" She lied, she had no idea how she felt about her mother, no idea at all. She finally got a tear to trickle down her face, which got her dad to finally turn away from her. No more tears came, and no sorrow filled her heart.?

I Know What Awaits
He ran through the dark hallway, so distracted that he didn't notice how it grew as he sprinted. His head throbbed after being hit by the alcohol bottle. He didn't know where he was going, but he had to get there, fast. Door after door, corridor after corridor, stairway after stairway. The feeling of dread hung in the air like fog. The lights were flickering dramatically, occasionally making him lose his way, as though they were taunting him. His lungs felt like collapsing. He was so tired of chasing after this... this... He didn't know how to describe it. He stopped dead in his tracks, hoping for some indication of where they were. It was quiet, the only noises being the twisted trees scraping the cracked windows. Suddenly, screams rang out, filling the musty air. He ran faster than he ever thought he could, hoping, pleading that he could get there in time. The door was dead ahead, light seeping through the keyhole. He smashed his weight against the door, as he conjured up images of what was to come from the darkest depths of his mind. Finally, the hinges could take no more, tearing away from the door frame. He burst in, hoping to find his family alive. He was wrong. So very, very wrong. There he was, stabbing his dear wife, blood spurting everywhere. His lovely children had been gutted, and thrown against the wall like trash. The stench of death, cigarettes and alcohol lingered in their once pristine living room. The other him slowly got up off of the corpse, a smile cracking his otherwise furious expression. He stared at Thomas with the same, demonic eyes that he saw in the mirror, the same blood-drenched face that appeared in the water. And the same crazed laugh that terrified everyone around him. This other him put the knife in his hand, patted him on the back, and disappeared through the wall. He fell to his knees, tears of deep regret flowing down his face, sirens outside of his house growing louder and louder.?

Make It Stop
She was in a loop; An infinite race. Time sped up; She broke at the base. The past is a blur; The future is non-existent. Time sped up; She grew distant. All that could be; All that she was. Time sped up; It wasn't enough. Everything a blur; Everything static. Time sped up; Sleep is magnetic. They are silent; They didn't try. Time sped up; She lost her light.?
