I just finished eating a waffle topped with homemade strawberry jam, which was rather messy. As I sit at the desk writing this, I can hear the weatherman on television reporting on the stong storms to come: We could see some thunderstorms and some could be strong to severe.
The thought of thunderstorms in April and May is quite scary from my perspective. Often here in North Carolina the early to mid spring temperatures are warm, so that right there added to a cold front means trouble. In 2011, close to Easter, I believe it was, a strong line of thunderstorms blew through, and a huge tornado hit close to home in a small town called Colerain. While my parents sat in the living room listening to the weather report, I took my prized possesions and put them under the matress on the bed. I crawled under the matress, but not before I set five heavy metal chairs on top. Thankfully, the storm passed through without dangering my hometown, but Colerain, unfortunately, wasn't that lucky.
I suppose now that I should tell about myself.
My birthday is August 17th, and now, I'm considered a teenager, if that's the right word to use for it. I'm not like teenagers of today. Teens of today like all sorts of stranger things, like rap music or boy bands and things like that, whilst I live in the past. The 1900's has always been my favorite time period, particularly 1906 to 1919. I suppose that'd be considered the 1900's and the 1910's. That time is when most of my writings are set, my first story posted (Elizabeth's Birthday) is set in 1915. My upcoming book that I'm currently in the process of writing is set in 1906. My kinds of music originate from the 1930's, '40's, and '50's. The Platters are my favorites. Hymns also catch my attention. I'm a Protestant Christian, denomination, Presbyterian Methodist-Baptist. I don't know which I could be considered as; I've been going to a Baptist church since I was two weeks old, but I have a lot of Methodist hymnals, and I always have liked the Presbyterians. My favorite hymn is called Love Lifted Me, and you can find it in most Baptist hymnals since 1912. I have a large collection of hymnals old and new, and the 1940 Broadman is my favorite.
I've got to close now, because after I've been typing for awhile I get this awful pain in my left shoulder close to my neck. 'Till tomorrow, G.A.W.

Okay, so the storms here this morning weren't that bad. Actually, they weren't bad at all. Showers to heavy rain at times, and that was about it. I woke up around eight thirty to watch I Love Lucy, and by then it was raining moderately. Then around ten, I did school, by the way I'm homeschooled, and the history lesson was on the rise of communisim. The teacher mentioned someone in France in the 1700's who enforced a rule that there be no rules, and that right there is impossiible. How can there be a rule that there be no rules if there be no rules? If there can be no rules, then how can there be a rule that there's no rules? It's a complicated situation.
I'm going to eat lunch now, so I'll write more tomorrow evening. 'Till tomorrow, G.A.W.

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I've been busy lately with the Brunswick stew this past Saturday, church on Sunday, then cleaning my room beginning Monday, the fifteenth, till today, and still, it's in no good condition. Junk all over the floor, I feel like the pharoah and his army drowning in the Red Sea after Moses and the Israelites passed through. Sort of crazy, huh?
I've got to go now, anyway. I'm getting that pain in my shoulder... again, and by the way, supper's almost ready. I suppose I should change my signature sentence, so, 'till next time, G.A.W.

I'll begin with the same sentence as last time: sorry I haven't written in a while. My room is looking better; the floor is cleared, but all the junk is on the bed. There's not much to write about, so bye, I guess. Till next time, G.A.W.
