As she paced around the school she continued to feel the vibrations from her phone from her mother telling her she could come home, that she could come home and regroup before she moved to Alabama, her close friend stood by and watched.

"She asked me to come back..."

Her friend looked surprised as she stood up from where she was sitting, "You should go home."

As the girl picked up her phone and typed a quick reply, "Yes, I will, tonight?"

The reply was quick and simple. "Yes." The girl exhaled and ran to tell her favorite teacher that had prayed her through it.

The teacher smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, nothing sexual about it simply motherly love. The girl thought to herself; I'm out of the drug dealers house now. I'm free of they're shit. I don't have to deal with them anymore.

She then thought of how she would tell the family she was with now that she would be moving. She had moved a lot of stuff in there and didn't know if it would all fit in her car. She hoped it would, this began a even newer journey even if it was one step back. She would be growing in this endeavor and ready to take another step or maybe even a leap soon enough.

Her friend wishes her luck as she runs to class.
