The Breeze

The Mountain breeze blows

Across the valley below.

Bringing with it the smell of spring

It brings the joy of new borns

Of the sweet, sweet blooming flowers

Of the woodland birds singing

Their springime songs for us to hear

New love has blossomed in hearts

of the young and of the old.

The Mountain breeze blows

Across the valley below.

The smell of rain and the clouds follow

It brings the smell of sunshine

Of long days and short nights

Of childrens' laughter while playing

On the sunlit beach at noon.

The Mountain breeze blows

Across the valley below.

The color of the leaves change

The skys rain in red, yellow, and brown

It brings the whispers of the future

Of the cold to come

Of the animals leaving

And the ring of bells

At the school of childrens.

The Mountain breeze blows

Across the valley below.

Bringing with it the cold

It brings nights full of snow

Morning brings a white wonderland

Of exciting snow days for kids

Of each perfect snowflake, so different

This is the land of log fireplaces

And the closeness of people.
