The sleeping Baobab tree is a book full of mystery and suspicion as their anomalous neighbour (Fred) has visions, and his paranormal Grandma decides to take him to Ng’ombe llde. In the village there have been strange disappearing of several people, Bul-Boo and Madillo suspect that Nokulku’s abnormal behaviour may have something to do with it.

Bul-Boo suspects Fred’s Grandma to be a witch with her super-sonic hearing and unnatural behaviour. Bul-Boo and her sister secretely hide in Nokulku’s car to find out why she is taking Fred to Ng’ombe llede.
