~~The Witches
By Roald Dhal
Book review by Henry Greenwood

This incredible book review by Roald Dahl is about a young boy who finds out witches are real…

Exceeding tragically, this unlucky child is involved in a car crash but survived as he was in the back of the car. Sadly the same cannot be said for his parent.

Because of this unfortunate turn of events, he ends up living with his grandmother in Norway. Every night before he went to sleep she would tell him about witches. She would tell him about their baldness, their claws, their toes (or lack of them) and many more aspects, until one day he encountered one!

They end up going to a hotel without knowing that the grand high witch was there for the annual meeting. The boy gets caught by the witches and turned into a miniscule white mouse.

The characters in this book are: the boy, his parents, his grandmother, the grand high witch and Bruno (who also becomes a mouse).

I highly recommend that you read this book if you like fantasy or adventure. Even if you don’t, I still extremely recommend that you read this amazing book.
