I've been deep

in the firey caves of hell.

Walking around helplessly

screaming for help

with no one to hear

my pleas.

I fell into an evil trap

of many addictions

that made my life

only become worse

and trapped me in hell.

I searched for ways

to escape,

but only found myself

wondering deeper

into the scary caves.

Everyone abandoned me.

Letting me battle

the demons alone.

Telling me i put myself there

so i needed to fight

my own way out.

After finding the map,

I followed it out

and left hell behind

without looking back.

Learning that

every addiction that i had

needed to go.

Today I still

look at those gates

wondering if I should take

a short trip back.

But for now

I'm content with staying

outside,

the Gates of Hell.
