Poem about love and happiness

Blinding Love

How on earth could I be

So stupid as to never see

What has been put in front of me

Someone who set emotions free

A girl of love, life, and laughter

Everything I’m chasing after

Perfection here is not the key

But she’s as close as one could be

I know not why she’s drawn to me

For compared to her I’m far beneath

Though yet she sees me not as I am

But as what I can be, a greater man

And so for her I try and reach

The limits through which I can breach

To grow in love, and adoration

For her my one true motivation.

Wow... I totally wrote a comment yesterday but it must not have stuck! But this one is so incredibly amazing! Whoever she is/was- she's lucky to be/have been so admired by someone as much as this!

You did write this comment yesterday, for some reason I accidentally and unintentionally deleted it. Sorry! And this poem isn't written for anyone in particular, just something that was stuck in my head. don't forget to like the poems and leave comments with suggestions for next weeks poems!
