Confession: I’ve read this book twice!
-Abby Stepp , the oldest sister of the Stepp sister. She goes back to Millbrook her childhood hometown for her job and as much as she hates being there and seeing old faces of her horrible childhood she couldn’t help but not remember her undying love for Chase Jordan
-Chase Jordan, the bad boy of Millbrook, is not only super hot and adorably handsome but also now neighbors with Abby Stepp. He never saw Abby to be the geeky super reserve teenager from high school to be, now, a sweet beautiful woman that she is.
Why I love this book: Not only the story is super sweet but the characters are so lovable. Once you start reading it makes you feel like you’ve been in this small town where the story has been set. And the prologue makes you feel like you’ve also been in the same high school as the Stepp sisters. If you’re like me and like to be lost in a book and go into a whole fictional world of your own when you read, this book will definitely do that to you. I’ve read this twice and the first time I read this book I quickly fell in love with it, although I didn’t read it in order it still gave me the same effect. This time though, I did read this first, since this is the story of the oldest sister and when you read the rest the story will just flow better and help you get more attached to the story of the sisters and the super hot men of their lives.
This story, has some funny, adorable and moments where you’ll just feel so attached to the character that you’d feel sorry for them when something bad happens to them. I especially love Chase just because he was described so nicely and the way I pictured him and the things he did for Abby is something I think an amazing boyfriend would do to the woman he loves.
Give this book a try and I’m sure you’ll be looking for the next book of the Stepp sisters.
PS: I try not to say too much because I don’t want this review to be a spoiler alert. So sorry if you think I didn’t say enough about the book. But to be honest, I love reading and will read anything, but I won’t give that much time to review something unless it captured me completely and I think it’s really worth reading.
*This book is available for free in an ebook app for androids. Although, the app is very bad at editing and the book tend to have a lot of typo, it’s still fun to read, and it is free! If you want the perfect version as in no typo, buy it on Barnes & Nobles for $4 something. It’s worth it.*
