There happened to be a fierce storm in my area today. I wrote this poem at the beginning of it.

The abyss over our heads has darkened
Calignious clouds have swollen to the brim
Lightning crackles, and we're given a brief preview of the transparent veins of the sky

Thunderous booming violently echoes through the crisp thin air,
whilst the wind thrust and draws the trees

Such intense fury that we've grown accustom to
Swarming and surrounding our vital shells

The cumbersome gray mass burst.
Flooding, spilling out

Such diverse idiosyncrasies
Not one reaction is the same

The eye of the storm has gazed long enough
It closes, falls into slumber
Awaiting its next visit...
