Her mask in place,
so no one can see her face

Keeping her mask in place,
Hiding the hurt and the pain.

Always keeping her mask in place
so no one can see her face.

Crawling away,
to hide
behind her mask.

Always keeping her mask in place
so no one can see her face.

Eyes now as cold as ice.
Always keeping her mask in place.
so no one can see her face.
