The will of my soul rejoiced

For I have met the reason it exists for

I searched for it long and hard

But most of my travels have led me to renounce

I did not let temptation take over

So I walked forward to a beautiful meadow

It was covered with kaleidoscopic flowers

And then I saw him underneath a valley of green briar

He walked towards me

Looking godly as he smiled

But I observed something else,

Interwined between his fingers and dark blood,

He gave me a black rose
