"Where'd they tell us to go, again?" asked a smooth featured, blonde young man. His face was ripe with anger.
"Be quiet, Hahgen. The Captain already told us he doesn't know. That means he doesn't know." A large, heavily muscled man shifted position in his seat.
"Hmph." Jacob Hahgen crossed his arms. "Sorry, Cap'n. I just want to go home and relax. I want to sleep in my own bed, go somewhere. Ugh, I'm just overstressed.."
Soseirei Anuleveria nodded. "I understand, Jacob. We've been through alot. We're all stressed and at our limit. Maybe Central will let me give you all a month off."
"Oh, that would be quite wonderful, Captain. Especially since we haven't had a vacation in almost a year and a half. And that's no fun." the scrawny, redheaded youth shrugged.
"I doubt they'll give us the green, though, considering the size of the latest Revival." He looked over at the big man. "What do you think Ray?"
"I don't know. It's not for me to say. But I would like to go home and see my wife and daughters. I don't think they will, but that's me. Hmm.. It would be nice though, if
they did, Claw."
The scrawny boy, Claw, stretched. "Yes, I know. At least you have family, though. If you remember, I am just just an orphan."
A pale, brown-haired girl spoke up. "Please, let's not start this again, guys."
"Leda's right. Claw, I'm your father now. I'm your family." Soseirei told him.
"Yeah, yeah. I hear you, Captain. You adopted me a year ago, I know."
