Beneath her waxen skin, weaves her withered veins

Little flows within, except the dust of better days

The needle hot with hunger, finds its way therein

and for a few painless hours

she sheds her peppered skin

her sick is soon forgotten - warmed by summer winds

smooth is the course it flows

as the lights begin to dim...
