Big blue eyes that hold a gaze,
big blue eyes that give you away
when we're caught in a crowd of so many people,
I'm small and unnoticed, the eye of the needle,
and all I see is you
at the far side of the room.
Suddenly, everything feels right.

I notice things about you that nobody does,
I've watched from a distance,
I'm thinking it was
the set of your jaw when you're playing piano,
the look in your eyes when you're focused,
the way you use big words you think that I won't know,
but disregard reason,
I'm yours,
and right now, that's all I really know.
