1 tennis ball, 2 baseball gloves and two brothers. My brother and I were the only playmates we had, but only 5 years separating us  made growing much more enjoyable than it could've been.

To this day I couldn't tell you how the glorious and stately game of floorball came into existence, but let us come to know the game of kings. Two warriors face off across the field of battle, each has a goal to protect and an opponent to smite! The weapons two baseball gloves ( one each ) and one tennis ball.

THE RULES

One player on each side of the field (living room), the object? To hit the ball usin only the glove to score a goal

THE CATCH

sounds simple and straight foward right? Aha but the true difaculty lies in the name of the game ( hushed whisper) Floor Ball

the main rule the ball must be ROLLING for the goal to count no skipping shots, no air balls, ROLLING.

Game is played until a predetermined score is reached or a fly ball came into contact or to close to something valuable.

Like normal brothers me and my brother fought a lot but NEVER, NOT ONCE, was there EVER even a dispute involving floorball. Maybe that's how all politicos debates should be settled! Did we crack the code? Find the glitch in the matrix? Imagine two world leaders debate each point over a round of floorball. Can that be any worse then the current system? (Sigh) but a dream and this story is what the game of kings should remain. Imagine what the yolo generation would do to it (shudder) "floorball the app" "x-treme floorball" and YouTube videos of PIMPLE FACE LITLLE JERKS TRYING TO PERFECT THAT WHICH CANNOT BE PERFECTED.....( deep breaths Luke deep breaths)

By reading this I've entrusted you with a part of my childhood that cemented the bond me and my brother still share.

I hope you had your own version that made you as happy as 2 baseball gloves, 2 brothers and one tennis ball made me.
