Orange Poem

I planted an orange tree

To grow some orange fruit for me

But what I found was very strange

From purple peas to rainbow apples it did range

What I found was cherry pits

I chopped them up to little bits

I again waited for oranges to grow

But what happened was that it did snow

And my tree then turned to dust

Therefore my dreams started to rust

I then went inside my house

Only to find a stain on my blouse

Never getting what you want

Can really turn into a taunt
