grass sprawls,

thinly rooted:

tender, caustic and harsh.

green. white. brown.

Finger curl,

roughly tangling.

arms pull,

hands grasp;

grass is unhinged, and tossed away:

dead and forgotten.

Hands make merry,

destroying elsewhere.
