A blood curdling scream ripped through the late, peaceful night. The scream lasted for only a minute, before giving way to a horrible sound, the sound of a person gasping and choking for air. If anyone was around to hear the poor sounds of the dying person, it would have been to late to help. The victim was twenty-four year old Amy Conroy, and now her killer was running at full speed through the forest, looking for its next victim. The killer walked like a human, ran like a human, but was not human. It was a creature you only hear about in myth's or the occasional person who is less credible than a man locked up in an insane asylum. It was a creature out of a classic horror story- a werewolf. This is not the shape changing creature that only comes out during the full moon. No, this was a pure-blood, fully insane, blood thirsty, creature that had only two things in mind- killing and eating. With eyes wide and wild, the blood of its latest victim dripping from its canine mouth. Tiny bits of flesh wedged in between the beasts teeth as it raced through the woods, jumping over logs and past small woodland animals. Just when the creature thought that there are no more people around, he spots a man walking along the path through the woods. The beast's yellow eyes settled on its newest prey, forty-seven year old Howard DeAngelo. The creature slowly stepped out of the woods, slowly creeping up on DeAngelo. Its yellow eyes flashed with a type of insanity that only a blood hungry creature has. Howard walked along the path, unaware of the approaching danger only a few feet behind him. Just as Howard heard the sound of a dog panting, the creature pounced. The werewolf pinned Howard to the ground, then flipped him over, because he liked to see the utter fear in the eyes of its prey as he kills it. DeAngelo was to stunned to do anything, and by the time the true horror of the situation set in, it was to late. Just as he was about to scream out for help, the beast lunged forward and closed its knife-like teeth around the poor mans neck, stopping any call from coming out. As the blood poured into DeAngelo's neck, he tried to breath in, but all that came into his lungs was a mouth full of blood from his pierced artery. The beast then ripped its neck upwards, tearing out the pour man's throat. The light left Howard's eyes and his last thought before slipping into the grateful sleep of death, was “How?”. The creature looked down at the blood covered face of the late Howard DeAngelo, then slowly lifted its head and howled triumphantly, a sound that came from the pits of Hell itself.
