I search the crowd for that familiar face,

But they pass in a blur and walk with a fast pace

But then I hear your voice and my heart starts to race, and I wonder if this is finally fate...

Was that fate or just another nightmare?

Your walking so close I could run my fingers through your hair,

But all I really do is just stop in stare,

Please wait for me my beautiful friend, who knows when I’ll see you again?

And as I watch you walk past I realize it was never really you, and my heart stops then Breaks in two.

How could you have ever have left me?

My one and only love,

You walked away from me, and never looked back

And I never saw it coming, though maybe I should’ve

You couldn’t be faithful, even if you tried,

Why was I the only one you honesty denied?
