Sense of Sound

Whist, whisperer, just keep it to yourself

I am searching for the sound of silence

Short, sharp sound buzzing in my head from whence

Sitting still, muttering by myself.

The roaring rumble just behind the shelf

Releasing cold winds throughout the heavens

The latest instruction is out, and hence

Bustle rustles, created by one self.

Footsteps are heard as I reach the bookshelf

Someone approached, unveiling his presence

I heard my heart beats faster as I tense

And realized I just frightened myself.
