In restless sleep
In whispered dreams at times extreme, I’ve tasted kisses fantasy.
Faceless voices deep and low, friends or foes I just don’t know
Premonitions and terrors of men, being devoured by the life their in.
Warlocks, witches, appearing in my sleep, ghosts chose my coma state
To come and talk with me.
Some tell of their unhappiness and why they drift earth’s plane.
Others never quite left loved ones and now have lost their way.
Then there are the guardians who usher them through the night.
Dream soldiers remove my nightmares, putting them all to flight.
